Social media in China is a powerful way for companies to develop their brands, as approximately 91% of the 900 million Chinese internet users have a social media account and use it on a daily basis. A lot of Chinese netizens make purchasing choices based on recommendations that they find on social media platforms. Therefore over the past years "social commerce", a new form of e-commerce, has exploded in popularity.
The German Chamber of Commerce in North China in cooperation with Sennheiser and the Wirtschaftsjunioren (Young Leaders) Beijing cordially invites you to discuss this relevant topic during our breakfast seminar.
Sennheiser, the German Audio Specialist is well known for its high quality headphones and microphones. In Greater China, the company is operating as a WOFE for over 10 years and is faced with the shift of consumer purchasing behavior. Pierre Eloy, Managing Director of Sennheiser Greater China, will share with us an inside perspective on premium brand positioning, social media and conversion to online sales.
Sennheiser's digital marketing agency Resonance will join us, as their Managing Director, Paul MacNeill, will elaborate on the topic of marketing on Chinese social media, and particularly on WeChat and Weibo. The presentation will cover this evolution and shed light on some of the Social CRM possibilities offered to brands, to better communicate with their customers. We will be lead by Paul McNeill on the path to the seamless customer journey with a brand's various touchpoints, referred to as the omnichannel "new" retail.
