Event Details

Many organizations are finding their ways in this different business context. Business leaders and HR managers have had to make hard decisions in the last few months, accumulating stress and mental fatigue. Employees have experienced the uncertainties and insecurities around their careers. Our minds have had to deal with an explosion of changes, and the associated emotional transitions. In our roles as business leaders and HR Managers, we may have had to also cope with our teams' and colleagues' anxieties whilst performing at our jobs.

Employee Wellbeing – particularly the mental health aspect – has become one of the most important challenges facing organizations as they navigate through business volatilities. For, if employees are not well, they cannot perform nor produce, and this would greatly affect business outcomes.

In this context, how do we strengthen Mental Health at work for resilience and productivity? For companies who have been working on wellness for employees, what needs to change to suit the new environment? And how do we take care of our own minds and mental wellbeing amidst our leadership roles?

In this Roundtable, designed for both Senior Business Leaders and HR decision makers, we will discuss the following:

· Best practices on approaching the topic of mental wellness in the workplace with the new set of business challenges

· Recommendations on engaging with stakeholders and employees over the topic of mental health, which could be taboo and difficult for some

· Suggestions on looking after your own minds and self-care as you

The discussion can be enriched as we elaborate and think through possible ways forward together with you, and learn from each other. So, please do share any organizational experience in this aspect anonymously ahead of time in the experience sharing session in the comment box during registration or during the Roundtable. All information received will be kept confidential.

Our guest speaker for this Roundtable will be Enoch Li, Managing Director of Bearapy, who will lead and facilitate our conversation, bringing her experience from working with a diverse set of organizations in Asia-Pacific to build mentally healthy workplaces.

Language: English (Chinese can be offered in the discussion).
