The German Chamber of Commerce in North China cordially invites you to join our next Excursion Automotive at the facilities of Sodecia Powertrain in Dalian on November 27, 2019.

Starting with the Cyber Security Law (CSL) in 2017 the Chinese authorities published several drafts, regulations and standards. The latest of which, the encryption law, will come into force on January 1, 2020. Practically every enterprise in China is affected by these legal regulations and plans, which concern the security framework of network infrastructure encryption, operations, as well as data collections, transfer and information handling. More important, the legal terms of these laws, drafts and regulations also oblige management of subsidiaries in China to take responsibilities and tasks in the areas of data collection, IT security, handling and transfer.

In this roundtable external experts from legal and technical side will inform about most important requirements and restrictions about data handling and transfer in international companies with subsidiaries in China and how legal responsibility and standards in the individual areas of a company can be implemented in practice. You will also receive an update on how an IT infrastructures for corporate communication between Germany and China can be legally built, operated and improved as well as when it is appropriate to use Cloud solutions, MPLS lines or VPN connections.
