The German Chamber of Commerce in North China cordially invites members & special guests to the next Automotive Roundtable at the facilities of ZF Lemforder Automotive Systems in Shenyang on November 26, 2019 on the topic IT Security.


Starting with the Cyber Security Law (CSL) in 2017 the Chinese authorities published several drafts, regulations and standards. The latest of which, the encryption law, will come into force on January 1, 2020. Practically every enterprise in China is affected by these legal regulations and plans, which concern the security framework of network infrastructure encryption, operations, as well as data collections, transfer and information handling. More important, the legal terms of these laws, drafts and regulations also oblige management of subsidiaries in China to take responsibilities and tasks in the areas of data collection, IT security, handling and transfer.


In this roundtable external experts from legal and technical side will inform about most important requirements and restrictions about data handling and transfer in international companies with subsidiaries in China and how legal responsibility and standards in the individual areas of a company can be implemented in practice. You will also receive an update on how an IT infrastructures for corporate communication between Germany and China can be legally built, operated and improved as well as when it is appropriate to use Cloud solutions, MPLS lines or VPN connections.


In addition, Mr. Wolfgang Lamprecht, General Manager of ZF Lemforder Automotive Systems Shenyang will introduce ZF as an important supplier for BBA in Shenyang and will guide the guests through the plant in ShenBei to get an impression of their production facilities and products.


About the Automotive Roundtable concept:

The German Chamber of Commerce organizes regular roundtable events especially for representatives of the automotive industry in North China. This event called "Automotive Roundtable" is designed to provide an exchange platform for managers and decision makers from local automotive suppliers, OEMs and related industries to share experiences, information and ideas.
