The adaption of a "dual vocational education system" has become a key requirement for many German companies in China to gain technically skilled staff and qualified workers. Well-known local companies in Shenyang such as BMW Brilliance Automotive, DRÄXLMAIER Automotive Components, OTTO Fuchs Technology and Dr. Schneider Automotive have all started to run cooperation projects with local vocational schools to further strengthen their training activities (e.g. in the field of mechatronics).
Since 2016, the German Chamber of Commerce in Shenyang is also supporting the implementation of a more practice-oriented vocational training approach in Northeast China. This roundtable event aims to share project experiences and discuss success factors of a cooperation with local technical vocational schools in China.
We have invited management representatives from DRÄXLMAIER Automotive, Otto Fuchs Technology and Dr. Schneider Automotive to introduce their local vocational education projects and share experiences as well as further discuss how a deeper cooperation between local vocational schools and companies can be achieved.
