The presentation deals with problems that can occur if German employees are employed abroad as part of a company secondment practice. Particular attention is paid to the possibilities of how German labor law and German social security law can be applied.

To this end, the speakers are going to give an insight into the fundamentals of German labor law and social security law, in order to explain how secondments can work in practice and which statutory provisions have to be observed.


Specialized in corporate, commercial as well as trademark law, Mr. Daniel Albrecht, German attorney at law and Managing Counsel of Starke, is going to moderate this expert talk and will discuss significant aspects concerning the labor as well as social security law situation in China with the experts from the German partner firm BLUEDEX. Furthermore, Mr. Achim Siegmann, experienced tax consultant, is also going to share his knowledge about this topic.
