In today's globalized economy, many companies are seeking for cost saving potential and aim to reach higher efficiency levels, in order to face the increasing competition on international markets. One key requirement to achieve these targets is energy cost reduction at your production facilities.
These questions will be introduced and discussed during our next Automotive Roundtable on August 22, 2018 at Changchun ElringKlinger Ltd. (CEK) with focus on Energy & Cost Efficiency of production facilities in China. On this occasion, Dr. Peter Lindner, General Manager at ChangchunElringKlinger Ltd. (CEK), will introduce ElringKlinger as a fast expanding automotive supplier in China and provide the visitors with a guided tour through the production facilities.
External guest speaker Mr. Harald Kumpfert, General Manager at De Zhong Green City New Energy Technology Co. Ltd. will give insights and share practical experience of the heat balance project, which was implemented at the CEK plant in spring 2014, including heat management and heat recovery methods. The installation of a balanced heat pump system and an underground heat exchanger results in an emission free operation since the winter period 2016 with minimal heating cost. The heating system within the CEK plant is now fully independent from the local government controlled heating system and has managed to save around 85% of the usual energy cost for CEK.
